Was wondering if anyone has a set of stock maps for the 2011 Enduro R (EU/AUS/UK). All I can find on the TuneECU site are as follows:

KTM 690 Enduro R EPT/EFI map 2011 model year with standard exhaust US only - can this be modified to make it non US only?

Anyone had their linkages off to regrease?

The sleeve that goes through the linkage to the swingarm on mine was so tight in the bearing, that I had to knock it out with a hammer and the needle rollers scored it on the way out.

Check the castings of the linkage as they are stretching, causing the holes to oval which pinches the bearings. If this is the case then its a new linkage.

These ones have also started to crack and have been replaced by uprated ones.

I finally installed my 1 inch lower Kouba Link. It went on pretty easy. I bought an adjustable skid plate stand with a pedal lift on amazon for $60. Kind of a crappy lift, but it worked. I lifted the back off the ground slightly. It was pretty wobbly on the stand with that soft skid plate, so I stablized it with tie down straps.

You have to remove both footpeg assemblies to get to the forward link axle. Simply unscrew a cap screw at one end of the axle and push it through like a wheel axle. The rear link bolt slipped right out after taking off its 19mm nut. Then I had to raise the wheel up to remove the old link. The new one slipped right in place and the link axle and bolts went right back in without drama. Once I had it stabilized and had the right tools, the whole job took about 20 minutes.

After installing the link I put the sidestand back on and tested it. Interestingly, it seemed about the same. I sat on it and the seat was definitely lower, though. I am having the welder shorten the stand by 1/2 inch. Should be perfect but won't know until tomorrow.

Beaney, Can you please elaborate on the "uprated one".

Is there an updated part? If so, from what year/model? How widespread is this?

I think the rear link is the only part I haven't already removed/reinstalled from my 690. :D

    Parts are

Pull rods from 450 rally bike
Rocker arm 660 rally bike ( requires machining)
Rear shock 450 rally ( Having a custom made Ohlins ttx made giving 305mm of travel)

Please remember my bike is used for racing desert rallies and had taken a lot of abuse.

Do those parts change geometry or are they just stronger?

Well, you do not read what I post then ...

These two right angles welded on the frame are for the 690 2012 seat. It has 4 rubber pillows in that area. 2 leveled, and two at the same place as ealier on the tube. 2 more then 2011 and earlier.

:D. Gros Buck, I read all your posts......:lol3

Now, pulling that info from the depths of my noggin maybe not so much. :rofl

Once he responded, I had a little light bulb go off and remembered seeing a pic of the seat pan but, didn't recall noticing the angles on the frame. KTM kinda made it hard to upgrade to the better seat pan now didn't they.....
