I am taking off here soon and excited to partake in this event. Hope to roll in after lunch. Thank you to John, Mac, Modette and the RMAR gang for organizing this event and the effort for attempting to organize the sport. Most have no idea the level of personal commitment/ time/ sacrifice these guys make for the cause including COHVCO, TPA and all the others out there working to protect our sport/ hobby. Lets put our minor differences to the side and move our sport forward and have a good time. See you there and let's ride B
SgtMarty, I hope I get to meet you over the weekend and shake your hand. One of your ride reports 3 or 4 years ago really got me into Adventure Riding / Dual Sport riding. I traveled along to Alaska and beyond each morning when I logged into the forum. It was probably the first epic ride report I ever read! Been having a blast riding around the San Juans all week and meeting some great people on the trails and passes!
Thank you so much for letting us leave our trailer and car at your place. Looking forward to seeing you at the rendezvous!
No shine this year:-( My connection couldn't make it happen before we headed out. It was a pleasure having dinner with you and Christine tonight.

Missing you all. And the mountains. And the trails. Stupid San Diego! Have an awesome time--can't wait for the pics!! Sent from my device upon which I can access nearly all knowledge in the world, yet which I actually use to look at pictures of motorbikes and cute dogs.
Well, the wife and I have decided to stay at the cabin in Vallecito for the night and head up early in the morning for the festivities and the BBER....I'd rather not scrub in my new knobbies on molas pass in the rain 2 up. See you guys in the AM. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Just a heads up to our fellow campers. NWS has issued a flash flood watch for Silverton Saturday noon'ish, through Saturday, eve....
I should have mentioned, If any adv riders are enroute to Silverton in the Vallecito area, and would rather not go all the way tonight, we've got more than enough room at the cabin. We'll be departing here around 6:30 am for Silverton. Pm me for contact info. Justin Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Yesterday was a blast. Group of five ( Abbi,Brian,Jim(Bill) Mark, and I (Erling) went over Cinamon, to Lake city, the Engineer, Hurricane, and California, back to Silverton. We were all fresh, and only Abbi's bike took a little nap, but that was because Brian's tail light did not work..... LOL.

Doh! Got a flat in Durango, so I'm waiting for the motorcycle places to open so I can pick up a new tube....That'll teach me to carry a spare. Maybe I'll make it to Silverton around 10:30. Any rides departing after that? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
