Thats a tidy looking CT, I picked up a $20 CT90 a month ago but it has been a farm hack so is in nowhere near the condition yours is in, but with some fresh fuel and an oil change it's running perfectly!
It's now in a few hundred pieces getting repainted and all the seals etc being refreshed, total budget is $200 to get it back to being "road legal"..... as long as the police don't take a close look!
They are a fun little bike, mine is being assigned to be the beach bike for getting groceries and going fishing at our beach house. :clap

Nice find and a great deal. I bought this vintage 1965 ct200 back in Feb. and just finished a moderate restoration. Starts first kick and is a blast to cruise around town. It's amazing, everyone had or knew someone that had a CT! I grew up with a 67, so this old girl is helping me relive my youth and tune up the wrenching skills. This site is your go to for anything CT related:

Very nice work! DrATV (Beatrice Cycle) is the place to go! They get all my spare $$$ too. Question, why the 2nd set of passenger pegs mounted on shock bolts vs. the OEM pegs forward???

My first bike was an 07 CT110. I ratted the shit out of that bike. I loved it.
It was good for about 120km/h, had michelin m45's on it and actually hooked around really well.
It caught fire after a fuel leak and I didn't have the heart to rebuild it, so I sold it for $100. I want another one this week. Next week I may be over I dont know.

After these photos were taken I cut down the front mud guard and lowered it to 5mm off the tyre, and hacked the rear fender off at the seam. It looked really neat. I fitted a similar size light in chrome, and tiny indicators that would vibrate loose on an almost daily basis. We changed out the exhaust to a low mount item but that kept cracking. It really was a hack bike but shit it was fun and it got me addicted to motorbikes.

Yeah that was on the cards.
Im now thinking of a similar project but to make it road legal here in Australia will be very difficult.

Yeah you could, but I don't want to run the risk of getting caught. I've never been pulled over for a random inspection, however the day I do something dodgy is the day I get waved to the side of the road...

Plus if it's legal it's more a sense of acomplishment.
