Look at what I spotted from the new pedestrian bridge in the middle of town.

Its probably been there for 10s of years plus I think recovering it would be unfeasible as you'd have to free it from the mud and get it almost 1/2 mile up river to the nearest place where you could drag it ashore.

You have to dig it up now, too many of us know it's there. It's what Indiana Jones would do. Think of it like the ultimate rat rig.

    How did it get there?

    Just the sidecar won't roll.

Seriously, there may be a motorcycle attached to it.

Someone may have driven off into the water.

It looks like from the angle that part of the bike would be showing, but I agree, how the heck did a car get out there on its own? :huh

Even if it is mucky it would be worth diging out. Maybe the police or whomever will do it to get litter out of the river??

Looks a bit like a Velorex. I suspect it was washed ashore.

You HAVE TO go invstigate it.. if not for your own curiosity, then for all of us out here in internetland.

I'd sneak out there and see what kind of damage it's sustained. Of course, I'd bring a friend and a few shovels.. in case it'd be worth saving.

You need to get rubber gaters or shorts no shoes and wade through and look. Might be a bike under the muck. I'm a Deputy and have seen stranger stuff. More than likely a rider rode off and never had the bike recovered. I doubt there is a body in there. The local Law should have gone looking for a missing person in a crash.

With the New Indi movie and the being a Adventure site you must and are forced to go look. You dont have a pair if you dont!:evil

If that dosnt get you out there nothing will.

Don't know the specific gravity of fiberglass Velorex plus frame plus tire/wheel? Possibly. However not necessary, strong swollen river brings a lot of debris downstream...
