All the services due for the first 12 months are included. The 600 mile service on my Hypermotard cost me around $150, which wasn't bad at all. the next service on a current air-cooled Ducati is due at 7500 miles, and this is a heavy one, at around $800-900. You can bet I'm going to do everything I can to get that 7500 miles knocked out my first year on my recently purchased Multistrada.

    More shots there...

Honestly the bikes in this class horrify me (the thought of people taking that much weight and power offroad with what amount to gnarly street tires scares me), but I am still interested to see where this goes. Might be cool if they have some more touring-friendly maintenance intervals on this one. I'm mostly interested to see what it looks like uncloaked.

Seeing those stupid sportbike 17" front wheels makes me laugh.

It doesn't look like it will be any more versatile than the current Multi.

Probably because the mods refuse to put this thread over in Road warriors, where it belongs. It became apparent months ago that the "Strada Aperta" was nothing more than the 2010 Multistrada, not some kind of GS competitor. The pictures just show that a good rider can take any bike off-road, which we already knew.

If you squint your eyes just right or isolate the front of the bike, a bird's head is very visible.

    Weird.

Thats one remarkably ugly bike. And I own a 2004 Multi, so I know what I'm talking about.

I just knew they would fuck up the ethos of the original Multi with the 4V 1098 engine.
