Does any one know if there are any differences between this two CDI-s.
Left one is from 1996 and right from 1999 AT.
    Thanks

Their shouldn't be. AT models 1996 and onwards the ignition was changed with twin pulse generator coils being replaced by a single coil and twin HT coils per cylinder being replaced by a single coil per cylinder and thus the CDI or ICU ....or whatever you want to call it was also changed. So prior to 1996 you will find differences.

I asked before I switched them....
    But I thought So.
I tested the 1999 CDI today on my 1996 AT and looks like it works without problems.

Another great vid by Hectoe. :clap I would be very sore at the end of the day getting stuck in the sand like you did and then turn the bike around 180 degrees. :D

For a moment I thought that I cannot get the bike from the sand pit myself, but in the end the bike turned quite easily by bouncing the front end. I was pretty exhausted after that. :D

Your lucky Hectoe to have a playground like that in your country.
My AT in Carcross, Yukon Territory with the Carcross Desert in the background also known as the world's smallest desert. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcross_Desert
When I lived in the Yukon I used to play in there on my old XL500. :D

    That looks a nice place.

Actually the landscape is formed a similar way here where I live.
I've always thought that Canada and Finland have similarities. But we are the current ice hockey world champions and you're not. :evil :D

That's correct...you beat the Swedes. Congrats.....but your still looking for that Olympic gold. :evil
I have to say that one of Finlands best exports would have to be Teemu Selanne. And I have his rookie card. :D

Up next because he plays for our local club the Calgary Flames and whom I'm a huge fan of is Miikka Kipprusoff....and don't forget Olli Jokinen. Sorry for the hockey hijack fellas. When you have snow and ice on the ground as long as we have you would understand. :D

I assume it's for an RDO7A? The FH012AA should be a straight swap as it also shares the same footprint as your old R/R.

Just picked up this 1990 RD04 yesterday - what a bike! It's definitely large and in charge. But not too large - in fact, I wouldn't mind a higher seat and handlebar setup.

Here are a few photos from last night along the southwest coast of Norway.

Hi all...sorry I seldom pop in, I spend most of my time on the KiwiBiker site here in NZ.

Being that there are very few AT's down here (maybe around 6 or so) I thought I would share my updates among fellow AT enthusiasts...

Here's a few pictures from my adventures over the past year. Thanks go to my fellow KiwiBikers for some of these photos.

Sometimes a man just needs to take his chainsaw for a ride...

    <a href="http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb200/buggsubique/Africa%20Twin/?action=view&amp;current=IMG057.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.advrider.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/b/buggsubique_Africa%2520Twin_IMG057.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Unfortunately I didn't have it this time....

    <a href="http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb200/buggsubique/Africa%20Twin/?action=view&amp;current=IMG074.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.advrider.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/b/buggsubique_Africa%2520Twin_IMG074.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

It got a bit cold here over winter...well, cold as far as NZ is concerned!

    <a href="http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb200/buggsubique/Africa%20Twin/?action=view&amp;current=IMG015.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.advrider.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/b/buggsubique_Africa%2520Twin_IMG015.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Sometimes its good to have a riding buddy ... or five, to help in sticky situations.

    <a href="http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb200/buggsubique/Africa%20Twin/?action=view&amp;current=sunkit.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.advrider.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/b/buggsubique_Africa%2520Twin_sunkit.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And sometimes one needs a little mechanical assistance in the form of a winch...y'know, to make those "tough" climbs...

    <a href="http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb200/buggsubique/Africa%20Twin/?action=view&amp;current=IMG111.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.advrider.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/b/buggsubique_Africa%2520Twin_IMG111.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
    <a href="http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb200/buggsubique/Africa%20Twin/?action=view&amp;current=IMG116.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.advrider.com/advrider-photobucket-images/images/b/buggsubique_Africa%2520Twin_IMG116.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Always a smile on my dial with the RD04...

    Cheers, and ride safe, Buggs
