How many DRIPS planning on riding through the winter??

I like dry, cold ain't bad, but cold and wet sucks. Then again, I do a lot of stuff that sucks. Dry gear and beer.

I'll be riding this fall and winter, as long as it doesn't get too hot. I'll use the GS on pavement, XR dual sport, WR pure off road, Trials bike on the insane stuff, and when all else fails my 4x4 ATV will get me thru.

On a side note, I bought a killer Marine style Fowl Weather Suit today at the COSCO in Issaquah for $40. It's 100% waterproof lined nylon, red and black parka and bib. I bought it to wear over my other waterproof/breathable riding gear to keep it clean and dry. Oh yeah, I'll be riding this winter.

Mostly, I'm a two planker in the wintertime. But the D606s should fair as well as any in mud and snow. Better hook up my aux. lights, too. I've got an interesting question for y'all, however.

What's the best helmet for Fall and Winter riding, where it's nice to be warm and not feel stinging drops of sleet at 60+ mph, i.e. have full face type coverage and be fog free, as much as possible, too? Does anyone feel that one brand or style is vastly superior to the rest?

My arai signet has never let me down..... rain, hail, sleet, snow, dirt..... plus it has that nifty chin thingie that directs the snot down and away when you have a cold and sneeze in it....
