My Cabelas had a small supply of FHN 30 round steel mags for $39.99 as of yesterday with a two magazine limited per customer. I purchased my two and immediately put 'em up on Gun Broker starting at $60. They quickly ran up to $145 in
a few hours (two still days left). Holy Sheet! :rofl

They were merged. It was mags for a black rifle.

Please remember peeps, this isn't the Flea Market nor do we do gun sale stuff on ADV. :deal

Not trolling or trying to start shit here, but is that rule for all gun related items? I know firearms are a no go and I can see mags being a cluster fuck because of different state laws, but what about scopes and add ons like that?

Once again, not questioning any rules or bitching about them. Just trying to make sure I don't fuck up on here. In all honesty Jurgen, you received my highest respect when you did what you did in the Sandy Hook Hoax thread. As a result, whatever your response is, I will take it as the absolute truth.

I can't find ammo for the fucking thing anywhere up here. My brother has two cases sitting in his store he is sending me.

From my limited understanding, they are a bitch to find in the MD area. My brother has been looking for one for quite some time with no luck. He wanted to punch me when I sent him a picture of me buying it. If it were me I would look on gun broker after the madness simmers down. I got mine for about a grand. I have seen them selling for 2k+. That is stupid money. They list for about 1k and at most I would pay about 1300 if I really wanted it.

The real question is, when it gets warmer out, why don't you come up to NH and play with all the fun toys not allowed in MA?

    2,000 :eek1 you're not kidding. I mean I understand there's a rush going on but that's crazy money for a pistol.

Sounds good, hopefully that will be sooner than later. This winter down in MA has been annoying, only a little snow which I'm fine with but lots of slush and freezing rain. Hope it's been going better for you.

Did you build the 2nd one or is that original? It looks a lot like a M16A1.

I'd like to build my first AR someday, yeah my timing sucks. Just starting to start researching. It's been something on the list for 10 years.
I'd like a .308, can I use the same lower for that and get a .223 upper later on?
Or are the mags that different?

It depends on the lower but generally no, you can't use a .308 in a .223 lower. (some lowers do allow it though.) The magazines aren't not interchangeable. It's basically like comparing a long-action to a short-action.
