Borrowed a 650R from a local inmate to test-fit a pair of tripleclamps. Tony's already running a pair of CRF forks, so it only tooks a few minutes to swap-out the tripleclamps. We pressed a stock XR stem and lower bearing pressed into place and then slid the tripleclamps into the frame. Everything fit perfectly. We were able to maintain the full range of steering, and the forks and tripleclamps just barely clear the radiators, shrouds, and Clarke 4.3 gallon tank when the steering is at full-lock. Steering stops make full contact and the geometry is spot-on. The only bummer is that there are some cosmetic blemishes. There are some chatter-marks in a few places that don't affect the fit or performance in any way, but it's sloppy work and we're not thrilled about it. So we're going to be selling these tripleclamps at a discount, and we've gotta talk to the machine shop to see what we can work out before we set final pricing. New website will be up soon, with additional details and pics.

    Jesus,
What you call blemmished is textured/crafted to me. These are machined metal and not a plastic pop-out part. I kinda like the slight chatter marks here and there; shows effort/tooling marks; sculpted, rustic like the XR. Make mine a blem. :nod:nod:nod:nod

Hadn't checked on these in awhile. Just got the PM. Where do I send money? I may have to drag the XRR out for more fun this coming summer....

You might check out the site. Couldn't checkout. There appears to be some problem with processing the CC.

Well thanks. That's a really way to look at it, but we're going to give everyone a 20% discount anyway. The new site is up and tripleclamps are available for purchase here. If you want a set, order soon because when they're gone they gone-gone-gone.
