Yea, I guess I misunderstood. The OP specifically says not the actual farm - but the processing plant.

I've spent the better part of two hours searching Google, and then an hour and a half on the bike to ride to the only possibility I could come up with, and when I got there it's just an old red brick warehouse with no signs...

That's in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metromess, and we've got 8 million people here!

How bout just a dairy, or an ice cream plant, or a cow! It produces milk!

Google shows three plants in Winchester VA, 20 miles from home. Just haven't had the time to go get a pic.

Stayed there a few years back during the BMW Curve Cowboy Reunion, real upscale place. Good food and wine.

Grab! This one's in Albemarle County, VA, just down the hill from Monticello.

Huh, My cousin just moved to Troy. Until recently, I wasn't aware how big it was, or that it existed at all.

Question, before I head out... I've found a few upcoming wine festivals within a somewhat reasonable distance, but would a scheduled wine tasting do?

I'm ok with a SPECIAL SCHEDULED (i.e. not 'every Saturday' or some such) wine tasting.

I'm also good with a beer festival, bourbon festival, or other alcohol induced festivities.

In that case, I'm headed to the fridge, but I'm going to have to figure out how to get the bike upstairs... :evil

The nearby one I'm thinking of *may* qualify, but it would be a pretty low-rent tag. I'll run for the real one tomorrow if this is still standing.

The photo doesn't show the post office. But the photo is a reasonable representation of the extent of Troy. In fairness, this is like twice as many porto-johns as normally reside in Troy.
