Converted to dual-sport? POST PICS!!

That is not a dual sport...

That XS is an OMNI sport!

Really a great bike and pictures.

Now you need pictures of it ice racing and crossing the Baja 1000 finish line.

Wow! You have gotten your money's worth from that bike like no other! What forks are using for the dual sport version?

The forks/triples are from a 1989 YZ250 Yamaha.I pulled them apart and cleaned a bunch of grunge out of them.I internally lowered them 3 1/2" and put a new seal/dust wiper kit in.Fork tubes have excellent chrome .

What type of rear shocks should I put on CB400N '84 to get enduro-like behavior ? Something like Triumph Scramblers or like...

Just get quality shocks that are about an inch longer than the originals.Where the shock mounts will make the ride higher and give more travel to the swing arm and rear wheel.

Any sugestions ?

Yes make sure the shocks are not just an inch longer but travel an inch further.
Any reputable brand should do or buy some second hand of a dirt bike of appropriate size.

Progressive will probably be the cheaper deal but Hagon and Works will have a fully adjustable fully customize set up to your specs and the price will reflect it.

I know this really wasn't converted from a street bike BUT there is a 750 cc Genisis engine in there. !!. AND I WANT ONE. !!.

Sadly it's creator and rider, Jean-Claude Olivier from Sonauto (Yamaha France) was taken out of life by an accident. A lorry-driver lost control on a motor-way and hit the car which was driven bei Olivier's daughter. She escaped nearly unscared and he was killed at once.

No, that is Varadero 1000. The 125 isn't that massive in the engine and tank.

This model was not included in the Swedish model program either .... But with a real nude photo, we see that Honda must have had in their intentions from the beginning, to build a real super offroad ......... Now it was something that stopped their plans ..... I think it was just the fact "that we users of these machines" is a really rare genus here on earth.
3000 pcs KTM 950 Super Enduros saturated whole host market 6 years later and two series of 950 see were never included in the production.

I think the acres of plastic and the plastic radiator tank on the right had side, along with the weight, meant they were more of a road bike than off road. Didnt sell well here in Oz. When I rode one I found the tank pushed my legs too far apart to be comfortable.

They started off with good intentions, but got lost half way along the design process. The naked photo looks great and you can see where it was intended to go.
