Cycling along Loch Lomond's banks today up to Tarbet...

This is the main A82 that we regularly ride on the motorbikes during the rest of the year ....our progress was a bit more 'sedate' today ..

Lunch stop at Tarbet, again a regular stop for us on the motorbikes on warmer Sundays. Although we did see 10C this afternoon on our way back.

Thanks bubu, I was quite pleased with the way that one came out too. If I was getting another pic enlarged to go on our walls in the flat that would be it.

Lovely! :clap...looks like you are having a nicer evening than we are ...... It's always dark before we get home now, It's dark when we leave for work and dark when we come home - worst part of the year. :deal

A few more from our ride up and down Loch Lomond on Saturday ....

The old disused road that flows round the headland below the current A82 south of Tarbet....

It's amazing the things you miss when you go flying past on the sportsbikes...like this old bridge that sits right beside the A82 ..Despite passing it countless times on the gixxers I hadn't really noticed it before.....:deal

Thanks :thumb.......agree 100% - it's why we like cycling ...apart from keeping fit, you get to see all the stuff you miss as you whizz by on the motorbikes ...and you get to explore new places that may not be accessible by road.

Thanks! I put that on my GSXR 1216 'Fighter - in keeping with the military theme. I sold it before someone said "I told you so" to the Thread topic "You are going to die" which i heard and still hear all the time....

No, on second thought, that's not a bandit, it's a GSXR, what year?
tank's different, forks are different, brakes are different, frame is similar but different,(then a bandit) but it's still carb'd
