My old principal had a Z3 Coupe and them an Z4 M coupe or whatever it was called. Really nice cars, both of them. I loved the lines of the Z4 coupe.

I love the lines of the Z4 too and there are not many cars that I like these days.

When I was on a paid hiatus from work and sitting out my non-compete, I got bored and sold BMW's for a while.

Without a doubt, the Z4, used or new, was my favorite car to rip around in. The M5 was great, but the Z4 was funner.

Congrats. They go good and are comfortable. I'm 6'3" and fit. Nothing not to love.

BTW, the best part of selling BMW's was the test drive. Taking demo drives and showing potential customers (with permission) just how fast the car they were looking at could go through my favorite local twisties. I'd go through first, they go through next. Sold more cars to girls that way.

Thanks! It looks like I've bought one and yet never sat in one so the 6'3" part makes me very happy. I'm buying the car in VA and getting it shipped. Hopefully in about a week or so I'll be having some fun.

IMHO they are truly beautiful and unique cars.

Interesting thread. I am picking up a 2007 Roadster Friday in Memphis for a friend in Mexico. Looking forward to the leisurely trip back to Texas. I know nothing about the car, yet.

Amazing brakes, flawless handling and a torquey inline 6 that sounds great mated to a 6 speed manual transmission that shifts like butter.

Disconnect the traction control and you can really have some fun.

The only mod Ihave done is to put ceramic brake pads on all 4 wheels it keeps them clean of brake dust.

I am going to hate selling it in a few months. Off to the Bahamas then Newport for the summer then to the BVI,S for the winter.

I still can hear the sound of the '89 635 I got to drive, back then. Spent a fair amount of time with an '87 325, too. I love the BMW inline 6.

Where did you get it from? Find it online?

I've driven several Z4s, and they were all spectacular. If I had the extra money for a dedicated sporty car the Z4 would be on my list.

I've been looking online for the last couple of months. Autotrader and searchtempest.com

Kicked a few tires until I found the perfect one for me. They sell pretty fast but new ones come up.

Hey Bueller! I like this car! Happy now? (PS, I also like Z4s, Z3s, and all the M iterations of both)

    Had a Z3 , M Roadster.

At launch it would lift it's front end like an old Chris Craft.

Fun ride in spite of that trait.
