Here's one with the same engine, the 660 thumper as in the MT03 posted
above (and XT660R, XT660X and XT660Z-Tenere)



The Aprilia Pegaso Strada Factory with some carbon bits, more ground
clearance (or was it just seat height) and wider bars then stock.

The bike also runs on spoke whees and is about 4lbs lighter then the regular
Strada.

Oh yeah, radial front brake too, the regular doesn't have that either.

I thought I recognized that frame and engine!

Hmmmm.... And I just happen to have a '93 900SS lurking in the corner of the garage. I've thought many times of stripping off the bodywork and doing something different with it... Like maybe a sorta naked, quasi-cafe racer or something with regular bars in place of the clip-ons, a round headlight, etc Hmmm... Project ideas just keep piling up!

I want one of these to take on my RV, because it is compact and lightweight, and looks like fun.
