The Landeron has an ETA 2824 so the movement is solid, but it's not the rugged dive watch it pays homage to. Still, I like it, it's one of my favorites I only paid $275 for it and now I see it's going for $1000 on their website, probably because of the scarcity of the ETA movements Sometimes these show up as a kit on Ebay The bund chrono is sold by a guy in Hong Kong who goes by 'watchesu571' on Ebay and another auction site I can't remember right now Kemmner also makes a similar watch that pops up occasionally
I had another one show up today Trying different bands on it right now, so far the nato that came with it is the most comfortable
Just posted a very good condition Lum Tec M57 in the flea market. I'm lousy with adding pictures, more so with the ipad. If interested, pm me and I can email.
One of the (many) things that fascinate me about watches is how the look of one can be completely changed by a different strap/bracelet. Sometimes much better and other times less so, but this mesh has transformed both the look and feel of my 2nd gen Monster... R
I bought one after seeing yours earlier in the thread; love the watch on its stock bracelet, mesh doesn't work for me, though that one's better than most.
wow! that's really nice. i have one of those and love it...but yours looks mint compared to mine....such a great watch.
Very nice! I haven't seen one of those in years. My father had one when I was a kid, but it was lost/sold/traded many moons ago. I'd forgotten about that old watch. Thanks for posting!
I just sent off a couple of Seikos (SKX009 & SKX779) to Harold (Yobokies) for a few mods. Hopefully I'll have them back in a couple of months. I love his work on Seiko divers.
