Anyone running these Warp9 radiators. http://www.warp9racing.com/accessories_radiators.html They appear to be a ripoff of the Fuidyne. Any thoughts or experience?
Hi Lads! I just installed a set of new clutch plates (metal + friction plates, except for the inner smaller friction disc, which I had somehow missed) and now when I go hard, the engine revs, but the bike doesn't accelerate. Any idea why the clutch is slipping now? Is this normal until it's worn in or something? I've only gone about 20km on the new clutch so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm a bit new to this beast :)
Stop riding it there is something wrong. Take it apart and check your work. You will burn your new clutch up.
those look like the same ones that are all over ebay. I know there are a few diff guys running them. They sure are priced well. I'm currently debating picking up a set vs fluidyne
Most of the reviews about the fleabay ones are positive. Most negatives are the holes don't line up. I would hope Warp took care of this issue if they put their name on it!
Did you pull everything out of the clutch assembly , including the skinny clutch plate the judder spring and the flat spring seat?. How did you assemble it. You should have had a flat spring seat 1st, then the judder spring. The judder spring is the one on an angle. It should be touching the spring seat on the bottom and leaning out toward you at the top, then you install the skinny clutch plate, then a steel. The steels have 2 different sides, one a flat square egde type, the other side will have like a radius edge. These can go either way, but install them all the same way. I soak my clutch plates in oil before installing. So after you put the skinny plate in, then a steel, then a normal clutch plate, steel , clutch plate , steel etc etc. You should have 6 normal plates , 6 steels, 1 skinney plate ,1 judder spring and 1 flat spring seat.
Ye, more Piggy pictures From today, out and searching for the spring, snow free in the open but still winter in the woods ... Found enough gravel in order to satisfy myself for a couple days.
