Holy fuck dude! To see you riding again after that proves you are indestructible, both physically and mentally. You are Superman.
That is remarkable. I had a crash as well that changed my life, though it didn't turn out nearly as serious as yours. What I learned, like you, is that I am alright with my life and who I am. Time is completely relative; you can relive your entire life over the time span of 3/10 of a second and 2 feet horizontally at 50 MPH.
Holy shit. You, sir, are the example I shall keep in mind whenever I'm mistakenly thinking that I'm in a situation I can't deal with. My hat s off to you.
Reading this story about the family who lost their lives when they fell off a bridge in New York (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/30/n...-killed-as-suv-plunges-off-bronx-highway.html) reminded me of your accident. I'm amazed yet again that you survived.
Wow. I ride that freeway quite a bit, and will look at it so differently now after reading this thread. Amazing, and I'm glad you came out ok. Well, you know what I mean. That was a remarkable story, and photos. Words can't explain it. I don't think I will let my wife see this thread or I will find my bike sold when I get home from work someday. Thank you for sharing your brave and scary tale.
Great now the squids are gonna wanna do bridge jumping Dude, that's the hardest way I have ever seen to get six pack Abs:huh
I remember seeing your post years ago...High double lane sweepimg overpasses always make me pucker. Glad you're still around. Have any recent pics of you and tour scar?
Very glad you made it thru your crash, life is very precious and you can appreciate this better than most.
