I actually have this image softlinked in Firefox. I have a button entitled "unhealthy obsession" that, when clicked, brings it up at a moments notice. I covet this bike/setup. It truely is an unhealthy obsession....good job.

Well it isn't ready to roll quite yet but close enough... got to wait for the rain to stop. That should happen in April.

Not as pretty as the loaded Thruxton but gentler on my aging back. I can't stand backpacks and wonder how people ride daily without bags.

Just a sleeping bag, no tent no cooking gear a few clothes a couple of tools and all the confidence of a 23 year old on a P200. My first trip deliberately traveling light worked as a great life lesson.

OK. I've got to ask it. Do you really use an English saddle or is that just there for giggles?

Good catch. I didn't notice that one. We used to keep some Tennessee Walkers and a few other horse when I was in my teens and early twenties. I couldn't ride any of them worth a damn except the walking horses, but the English saddle was the perfect seat. He might be on to something there..... Hhmmmm, I wonder if that saddle is still in storage at my.... Never mind.
