Which really shouldnt be a surprise, I mean she was a four year starter and received numerous <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1lace w:st="on"><st1laceName w:st="on">All</st1laceName> <st1laceType w:st="on">State</st1laceType></st1lace> honors in high school then played two years of collegiate volleyball but when she asked me if she could take a ride with me Sunday it was a first. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o> <o> </o> Anyway this is our daughter Meredith all suited up. While it didnt exactly fit, I suppose it was better than nothing ATGATT <o></o> <o> </o> <o> </o> Thinking this might be a once in a life time thing I figured I better make the best of it, so we headed south and I introduced her to her Great, Great, Great Grandfather. <o></o> <o> </o> <o></o> Then on to Live Oak Cemetery where we paid respects to her Great and Great Great Grandfathers. <o> </o> <o> </o> Of course there was lots of this as we traversed the <st1laceName w:st="on">Cahaba</st1laceName> <st1laceType w:st="on">River</st1laceType> watershed all the way to where it meets the <st1lace w:st="on">Alabama River</st1lace> at Cahawba. <o></o> <o></o> <o> </o>After the showers Saturday night some roads proved more interesting than others. <o></o> <o></o> <o></o> <o> </o> <o></o> Cahawba Lunch - Orrville<o></o> <o></o> <o></o> <o></o> <o></o> She declined my 4 course Sunday Dinner opting for a chicken biscuit instead. <o></o> <o> </o> <o> </o> No its not what you think, I stopped to walk this Soybean field for arrowheads and she took the opportunity to stretch out for a bit. On her facebook page she titled this who knew riding a motorcycle for 9 hours was a workout...? <o></o> <o> </o> Wasnt the way we were going but Im drawn to these like a bee to honey. <o></o> <o></o> Sure enough this babys out but its doable and on general principle I started to but it was getting late and I really wanted to show her the Shrine. <o></o> <o></o> <o></o> <o></o> <o></o> <o> </o> <o></o> The Shrine on <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Ridge Road</st1:address></st1:Street>. <o></o> <o></o> <o></o> <o></o> Almost home, one of our other (non related) daughters, was heading back to D.C. so we had to see her before she left. <o></o> <o>Whether we ever do something like this again doesn't matter, we had a ball and its 9 hours we'll remember for the rest of our lives.</o>
