    That forum is mainly active in the evenings. I don't think you meant to give wrong impressions about getting replies to your questions, but I also don't want some random person thinking that XJ Bikes is a dead forum.

    Was not trying to say that at all k Moe had posted a few times looking for info and no replays then it seems like they all come at one time lol I sometimes am inpatient go figure and have a hard time figuring out internet stuff but yes good information on there just getting a handle on using it

    yes I am using this site easly the other is a good site just harder to use for me nothing bad im just not a computer person unless it is for a car lol

    I have about 26 maby 30 miles on it so far waiting on a front wheel and still working last of the gremlins out of the carbs / bike but it is going slow but OK now hope to get some miles on it this week

    My first bike was very similar to yours. '83 Nighthawk 550. Inline 4, shaft drive, 6 speed. Fast for what it was. One year wonder.
