We got off to a bad start on one of the low water bridges on Charrette Creek Road and had to recover the DRZ. We later made up for it on some real creek crossings without those pesky low water bridges...enjoy.</p>
Was out driving in the cage a week ago, and i noticed this powerline trail. I said to the wife, i wonder why i've never gone down there and played?! Because my luck just ran out. My first Get-off with the bike, and I went over the front. DAMHIK!! from the road, you couldn't see the soggy parts, just what was beyond them, so it just looked like an access road. well, after descending down from the road, it was grasssy mudhole after grassy mudhole. I kept thinking, there are quad tracks, i can get through here, and for the most part, I did just fine - feet in the air, and high rpm's in second with a rooster tail. until, i decided to just go around this one...apparently I found the deep spot. front end goes straight down, and I keep going. I land in a bush on the other side of this little hole. unharmed - attgatt with now a very dirty Alpinestar jacket, and some scuffs on the lid. no damage to the bike, but even though it's just a sherpa, still took me a good 15 minutes of fartin around to get it out. i was ready for a beer. glad I brought my iPhone, otherwise i'd just have a story and a dirty bike. (that's a 21 inch wheel under there) and THAT is why we don't go down that trail in the early spring!!
