I didn't have anyone question me when I did it, I did have turn signals, horn, head light (just one setting no high and low), tail light and brake light (although only switched on rear brake). It was very quick turn around. Although when I got my licenses renewal last September it said I had a problem and needed to call. When I called got a guy and asked him what was going on. He said something like that I had a gray bond and they used to not accept them but they do now. I had never gotten my title. He said it was fine now and fixed it so I could renew on line and in 4 days got my title in the mail. I say call back and get a hold of someone else. Just tell them the bike is street legal. Not sure why they would want proof. They may have had some complaints or someone abusing the system. If it meets all the requirement of being street legal there should be nothing they can do about it.
Thanks! I feel like it's Christmas all over again! First a printer, now a chair. Now I can spend my money on more important things like motorcycle stuff... and beer! Let me know when/where I can pick it up. I'm off for the next 4 days (starting at 5:00 pm tomorrow) so I can get it anytime.
Well that sucks. Everyone I talked to said that nobody checks whether or not you got all the "legal" stuff. That's the po po's job, should they decide to pull you over. Get us updated how this works out because I'm right behind you.
Doc is the man that can help you straightened out and get your bikes ready to be registered. He is a bit preoccupied right now though.
To me the person did not seam to know what they were talking about. Hoping tomorrow when i talk to someone higher up i can get a better answer. i just dont see why a picture of it would help them. i could just get some off the net and email them to her. I dont want to dump the money into the street legal stuff unless i can get the title stuck
Hmmmm...just go get a pic of a DS bike that looks street legal, make sure the tag is not in the pic, and send her that!
hey Ryan..here is all you need to do..first, do you have a BILL OF SALE? If so, tell them that you have a bill of sale and no title..the previous owner bought the bike but never tagged it and lost the MSO..you are in the process of RESTORING it and since there is no title, you want/need the bonded title...don't say anything abt trying to get it tagged for the street..get the title first, then go get it tagged
Brisket is getting charred, then going in the fridge overnight using the Mouth-method. The weirdest part of his recipe is slicing it in the morning BEFORE putting it in the oven. I might slice one and not the other? In any case, if it sucks, Matt's to blame.
What?????? It was short with lots of stop time & picture opportunities. Was some easy & some technical parts, just a really nice ride for us old folks. Specially since we had Toyman, MountainMoto & Zecatfish along.
