    I'm getting there.

I'm going to put the put the carbs, oil tank and radiator on Monday.

I got the Sporting Wood air filter and jet kit with stock mufflers for now.

What jets should I use for 8-900' msl?

I know it's on here somewhere but I can't find it.

    Thanks

I wanted to ride it to the gas station but a float is stuck and I have to work early.

I need to rejet the carb anyway.

It dies when you clunk it into gear. It won't start with the clutch in so jumping the clutch won't work.

The side stand switch has already been cut (PO) and eliminated, I can't find it.

It must be something on this engine. (2010 990 SMR)

Why is it doing this does anyone know?

I put the jet kit on it.

When it started fuel ran onto the floor. It obviously had a stuck float. I tapped on the carb no help. And then I rode it with the petcock closed. The float came unstuck.

But it doesn't run worth a damn. Both cylinders are firing but there is no power.

    Any ideas?

If you run it with the air box cover off and watch the CV slides in the carbs are they moving roughly the same amount?

    1. Spark
    2. Air
    3. No vacume leaks.

    Good Plugs?

    thats it for me... :)

    I'll check the slides.

I may have gotten the throttle position sensor off some.

    Could that make a difference?

    Thanks.

I may get a real mechanic to put the tune on it.

    I'm not really very smart.

I've been riding it, getting to know it.

It runs great. No problems except the carburetors.

It's too rich below 3k. I'm working on the carbs tomorrow.

I love it. It's a big ass dirt bike that will go down the interstate.
