Had a 500 RG500 Walter Wolf rep' Only bike in the world that had an update for every gear in the box sans first. I uprated to GSXR wheels, Tommy Crawford chambers etc. Good times when the powervalves opened up at 7800 RPM. Fun bikes when they weren't spitting gears through the cases or injesting pieces of their disc valves.

Dec 71 build date GT750J.....unrestored, but seriously cleaned up and recomissioned, after sitting in several barns for 20-25 years......still looking for a good original 72 seat.

My RZ350 I've had since 1985...been through various stages in life, but it's ready for some warm weather again,

My idea of adventure is a two stroke hitting it's powerband....

I've got a lot of seat time on an RS250 like the one in the background, but have only puttered an RZ350 around the block. How do they compare, motor wise?

The RS I've only had on the track, and the RZ only on the street....so It's hard to say really. But no question the RS is way more fun, and seems to pull a bit better at higher RPMs. The RZ has a stage 3 Spec II cylinders and head work, with Toomey pipes and 32 Mikuni's. The RS has Jolly Moto's and straight plug heads, opened up airbox like a kit RGV...

Sadly the RS hasn't been on a track for 6 years now....Economy/divorce/relocate/$$$...
But the RZ has been completely gone over and ready for dry weather, and the RS has a couple track days booked this year. And I'm looking forward to a new comparison.....

I had an RS 250, what a blast!
Sold it after a buddy got really hurt on the track.
And a couple other two strokes.

That OSSA looks good lowered with those straps....would be a cool cafe racer.

My 99 Cup RS waiting for some track time

My newly aquired VJ22FL....home market RGV.
Hadn't been fired up since it arrived on these shores around 12 years ago....until I pieced it back together enough to get some smoke out of it. Still needing parts for this one.

No shit. Steve Baker (owner of Mt Baker Motosports in Bellingham WA) has one he uses as his daily driver. RG500 daily driver = total fucking badass.

My RZ350... a real screamer and super lightweight! It's so fast it doesn't even need wheels!

But seriously, I have an 04 R6 complete front end and FZ600 rear ready to bolt on as soon as I get the time.

Then it really should be a screamer!

Saw this at a show last weekend. 1976 dt400 street tracked with a custom down chambered pipe and modern suspension.

"Modern suspension" seems to be a bit of an overstatement, unless there's something I can't see going on there... Looks pretty good though

Baker may not be the only one, then. I shared MRA racetracks with Bruce Sass....... :clap

You would hardly believe what that guy could do at the Aspen 6-Hour, or the streets of Steamboat Springs. :D
