The previous post is exactly how I've been thinking about it, so I won't repeat it all like I did last time :).

All true. This really helps comparing the 2 suits and deciding what's essential - thanks for contributing to the discussion. Thanks for pointing out the integration. I have tried it on the Companero/Concept and was really impressed with it. (In-store, not on the bike, so I'm still talking 50% out of my @ss I suppose :).) And you have a point about flapping in the wind - I'll have to give that further thought as I look for a rainshell. The 10y warranty is indeed a valuable thing I'd completely forgotten about. I was aware that it's a Stadler suit - that is the main reason why I've been seeing the Companero as a reference point and a holy grail. And the reason why I have brought it up repeatedly in this thread.

I'm looking for a solution that has the elements of the design that are essential for me at a price that my bank account can support - and from that point of view (not caring so much about the quality goretex layer, though I respect its value, and my funds being what they are), I think I may be at home in the Sahara market segment, as described in the previous post.

There is a small change to our Super Saver format.
Instead of multiple products having Super Saver offers on them, only one product will have the offer available at a time. The current offer will be at this page:
    http://store.teizms.com/super-saver

The time span to order will also be much shorter. The last day to order the Sahara with the Super Saver is now Dec 31st.
Starting Jan 1st, a different product will have the super saver offer.

    Before you ask -
We don't know in advance which product will have the super saver offer next. There is no guarantee if the product you are looking for will even get the Super Saver offer.

According to the Atomic Moto site the Klim Adventure Air has superfabric on shoulders and elbows and the gortex overshell can be purchased seperately.

Hand warmer pockets: These are behind the front cargo pockets and do have zippers. (similar to the navigator jacket)

Maybe I missed it, but was wondering when/if pants to match the jacket are in the pipeline?

Also, from a technical spec perspective, is the Sahara the separate jacket version of the Air Shell?

Am a happy Lombard customer from 3 years ago and starting to consider summer gear for this year (mostly for commuting) and I always check in to see what Teiz has to offer. Clearly a lot of progress since I last checked! Good work.

Mine arrived a couple days ago - kind of amazing that something can travel here from Asia in a few days.

It's too early for a review but the jacket looks good and fits well. I've put only a couple miles on it so far but may do a review soon.

    thanks for the support.

technically, yes the Sahara is two version of the Air Shell. Materials and features are almost exactly the same.

The pants are in the pipline and will be up on display very soon. we have been totally swamped with custom orders recently which is why we could not concentrate on the new pants. i hope to have them available for ordering in April
