Watched a great movie called as far as my feet will carry me. Its a german film and subtitled which I normally hate but this ones worth it. German pow escapes siberia after the war. great story and scenery
I noticed that last night also. I did get an email today offering me a 3% discount on my next bill. I thought that was an awesome thing for Netflix to offer. It may have been since I only have the streaming plan but I thought it was cool nonetheless.
Hopscotch Really great, smart Comedy/Spy film from the 80', what a joy to watch, Simple Intelligent fun
Yeah, pretty stupid but my family enjoyed it very much. A good mix of speeding cars, lots of guns, explosions and a rocket launcher. What more could you ask for? 3.5*s Also watched Mary and Max (8.2) Adult Animation: Excellent film and easy to appreciate why it is so highly rated - "A tale of friendship between two unlikely pen pals: Mary, a lonely, eight-year-old girl living in the suburbs of Melbourne, and Max, a forty-four-year old, severely obese man living in New York." 5*s
The Wildest Dream (7.5) Another facinating Everest documentary about finding the body of George Malory and then the speculation around if he did summit 30 years before Edmund Hillary. 4*'s "When Conrad Anker finds the body of George Mallory on Mount Everest 75 years after Mallory's death, Anker becomes obsessed with learning whether the man determined to become the first to reach the mountain's summit actually met his goal before dying. Narrated by Liam Neeson, this visually spectacular documentary also features the voices of Alan Rickman, Ralph Fiennes, Natasha Richardson and Hugh Dancy."
The Battleship Potemkin (Bronenosets Potyomkin) director Sergei M. Eisenstein's masterwork remains a cinematic landmark
Vexille Animated Sci-Fi with very interesting "Image" and a plot that keeps you entertain, Even if is kind of predictable at the end, Actually the whole thing but is fun to watch none the less.. .
Steel Toes - Jewish lawyer (David Staitharn ) is appointed to the defense of a skinhead accused of murdering an indian man. Quite enjoyable but I wouldn't go full 5 star. Gangs of New York. Daniel Day Lewis, Leo Dicaprio, Cameron Diaz, John C Reilly, a plethora of others. Just noticed that it was available.
I see two Dalton to the 4 Connery films. (and I grew up with Moore. The Spy Who Loved Me was the first Bond film I saw and of the IMDB films listed below this has the top rating). Thunderball (7.0) Connery 1965 You Only Live Twice (6.9) Connery 1967 On Her Majesty's Secret Service (6.8) Lazenby 1969 Diamonds Are Forever (6.7) Connery 1971 Live and Let Die (6.8) Moore 1973 Man With The Golden Gun (6.6) Moore 1974 The Spy Who Loved Me (7.1) Moore 1977 Moonraker (6.1) Moore 1979 For Your Eyes Only (6.8) Moore 1981 Octopussy (6.5) Moore 1983 Never Say Never Again (6.1) Connery 1983 A View To a Kill (6.1) Moore 1985 The Living Daylights (6.7) Dalton 1987 Licence To Kill (6.5) Dalton 1989 As a lark I put on The Spy Who Loved Me last night. The kids loved it and I enjoyed watching it again. Pure fun and what's not to love with a Lotus sports-car that turns into a sub, sharks, a side-car torpedo and JAWS!?. 4*'s easy
umm, thats b/c there were only two Tim Dalton JB films and that was more than enough. Really, a IMDB registered voters rating means what Maybe most popular soundtrack <iframe title="YouTube video player" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/SaV-6qerkqI" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="390" width="480"></iframe>
Almost all of the seasons of Top Gear are available now. Seasons 2-9 were added to the more recent ones. I am in heaven. There are a handful of individual episodes that are DVD only (which you can find on the internet anyway) but the very large majority are all streaming.
Interstate 60 Fun, wierd, funny road trip movie. Guy goes across the country to find a girl he saw on a billboard. AMAZING supporting cast. Gary Oldman, Christopher Lloyd, and Chris Cooper with an awesome appearance. It's quirky, and starts off weird, but if you stick through the first 20 minutes you will love this movie.
