    Hm, that's interesting. I have to wonder just how practical - I can see that thing being a bit top-heavy, etc. Which makes me think it's a bit of a gag?

    Link was down, but i gotta say i LOVE my apache, its a 1976 and the smallest model. We lived out of it for 6 days a couple weeks ago in new mexico. Its super easy to tow, weighs very little and expands to a decent size. We have used it a whole bunch in the year or so that i have had it and certain mechanical components are starting to show age, but all said and done you cant do it much cheaper or with better mpg!

    Years ago we had the larger RAMADA model, and absolutely loved it. I regretted selling it as soon as I did.

    There's lots of internet help on the maintenance and repair of these trailers.
