I would love that on the road. Used one of those xs 650cc out to 720 in my motocross sidecar outfit over here in the UK after I was forced to change over from using Norton 920cc Commando engines because I couldn't keep a Norton gearbox together for more than one meeting..

My first sidecar was XS650 based. Call me XS-sive, I've had four of them in various configurations, sidecar, street tracker, cafe racer, standard, quite a versatile history.
I so remember this bike coming out then , I was 16 at the time > http://images.search.yahoo.com/imag...b=13f7b89d1&sigi=11co3mdca&.crumb=NmkjRPq2lzH
Take a shower, Clancy. Nice thing. If the Tig wasn't so epic, I'd be after a GSX1400, yes, yes, yes. Wouldn't we all?
Is this what is known as 'original retro'? Very nice. Don't know how it would go out in the bush, though. Much difficulty in putting a lefty on the road in the USA?
Nothing wrong with yours Ray, nice outfit. I just wanted a new one and didn't want another K. Mine's been great but now I've ridden it for over two years, and ridden a few others, I know I can do something better.
I'm ambidexterous! There is no requirement for right-sidecar that I'm aware of but an extremely near sighted monkey is best.

So it took me 2 days to go through all of this thread ! I like to get ideas of what I want to do, and love/hate researching.:huh Have an '07 GSA and well... sometime I like to be a "little different". Last time I rode an outfit was in '94... loved it of course... I'm a Brit in Canada so it's going to be a bit of a change with the chair on the "other" side but I adapt pretty easily. Some great looking "hacks", as you call them, and I am especially into the dual purpous type, Planning to get set-up in the "hope" that I can get some major touring under my belt in the near future.
Welcome. A brit in canada eh ... I would've guessed you would have gone with brit-tim horton's rather than a seven eleven .
haha well.... no matter how much I love Timmy's hot choc.... it does give me a sugar rush :eek1 and then makes me drowsy! :huh Thankyou for the welcome
