You can not machine the stock triple to fit the crf forks. You can machine the crf stem to fit the xrl

The RSW triples have the factory speedo mount holes and ignition switch hole

Made my own and included a tether in case it ever popped off, the high temp silicone is holding so far.

Speaking of tethers, has anyone else had the kick stand spring go south? Last year a friend's did, and this fall mine did. I thought the first time was a fluke but perhaps not. I have been thinking about wiring mine. We didn't find his, so he leaned his bike against trees for four days. Safety wire to the rescue!

I squeeze the spring with pliers to make the spring fit tight on both ends.

Oh yes indeed... replaced it with a hardware store spring with a wire running through the middle.

On my XR200 I stopped at a trailside bedspring and used 2 short springs, worked as long as I had the bike.

yeah. The 600 has mounting points where the R/R is on the L. So I had to change the front brackets also.

I fabbed my own as well. I went "full wrap" to make it look less like a patch.

I was at the bike show last month and I saw a KTM go down on its side and the shifter punched out a hole :eek1. If that bike hade one of these guards it may have helped... After seeing that happen in front of my eyes I am making installing my guard top priority when it heats up a bit. Just need to figure out what the best way to fasten it.

That is amazing! will the pinesol do any damage to the rubber parts? How many different beers will be needed? it looks like that is a critical part of the process. The bike sat for a year and has massive crud in the carb guesing it is from the ethanol.

Here's my setup, I'd say they certainly can't hurt the subframe support - 2 of the 3 mounting points are on the frame itself so you could argue that it triangulates to support the subframe. In any case I've run them under a pretty full load and never had any issues.
