Hey. IMO, it's a more dirt road capable Multistrada. That's not a bad thing, just different from what the dirtiest folks want. Now KTM just needs to come out with a nastier lighter dirtier version.

In other news...... I have stared at those tires and wheels till I'm cross-eyed. Fellas. Y'all ain't gonna be able to keep anything knobbly on the rear of those bikes for more than a weekend. That appears to be a 17" rear and there is nothing presently made that will hold up to how and where I ride a less than 100 HP bike. 50 more HP? Yeah. Y'all better hope the manufacturers step up quick.

    No 21 in those R pics. That's a 19 unless I'm going blind(-er).

Wet weight 20 lbs heavier. Hp 50% higher. Torque probably same. It will be interesting to see how the fueling is at part throttle which is where you will be on the dirt. If it has good fueling and decent range I will have one.

Yeah, maybe so. But the R apparently just had its dirt balls cut off, if those are 19/17 wheels. That's worse than a big step. That's a big snip. ;) <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

The R is 21"front wheel the standard is 19" from what we see.lol
some quick math.... new R is about 13 pounds heavier (Wet with same fuel load of 5 gallons) than 2012 model. note 2013 can carry about a extra gallon of fuel, so that maybe throwing your numbers off.

Ive ridden several RC8 they dont have stumble problem....hope this is true for this bike too.

This bike is bad as hell !
I got to go back to work lol

If it wasn't for the orange frame I'd probably mistake this non interesting street bike as some other brand. Perhaps if they sell enough of these to the large starbucks crowd they'll have some money to build a real offroad successor that we want.
