Nice! There has been a glut of CB350s and CB360s in my area recently for some reason. I've always liked the 350, and some of the bikes that have been popping up on Craigslist are really tempting.
I looked at a 1971 CB 350 last night. 5000 miles but had been repainted. Guy asking $900.00. If the paint was original I'd be tempted. He has 3 1974 CL200 twins also...$700.00 for all three. One is good and the other 2 are parts bikes. no titles though. I hate screwing with the "bonded title" hassle. Usually cost around $150.00 for a title when it's all done. The CL 200's were a "one year" bike I believe. Maybe worth the $700.00?
Here's mine...exactly $1500; I have spent a bit more as it needed tires. I suspect that it will need some minor tweaking in the spring as well. 16k original miles, one owner, bone stock except for the seat.
$350.00....17k miles. Doesn't run due to carb issues, float sticking....sat for a while. Think I'll take it home and see if I can make it go..
You just made a new friend sir. When I was riding offroad,I was a Honda nut. When I started riding onroad,I became a Suzuki freak.I haven't looked back.I'm not saying Honda is a bad manufacture by no means.I just prefer Suzuki.
I have 3,07 Vstrom,94 GS500 and my beloved 82 GS850G.I have had 3 other GS850's and 2 750's and 2 GS450's. I have always been and always will be a Suzuki man !!!. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Am I making out the badges on the side cover correctly "GS850G"? Looks to be a "shaftie". I bought a new, black GS1000G back in about '82. I loved that bike, but stupid is what stupid does, and I sold it. My now-wife says she fell in love with me on the Suzuki. Whatever it took, I'll take it
So I broke down and brought it home tonight. Just couldn't pass it up for the price and the low miles...It's a 1979 GS850G Shaft Drive. Has triple discs too. I'll haul it down to AZ. when I go down in a few weeks and get her going. She needs a good cleaning . Has fairly new Dunlop tires. I had a GS850L years back, might have been a 1980 or 81...don't remember. It was a shaft Drive too. The 850L was a pretty fast bike although they are pretty heavy. I don't know what the difference was between the "G" and "L" Models.?
You got a kick/electric model...my favorite.I had 2 79's and 1 had a bad starter,I kick started it for 4 years and never did fix the starter.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
