About? I doused my uniform, helmet, and Buff in water before heading home today, and was almost entirely dry by the time I got home, about 15 minutes later.:eek1

Here's the deal folks. My father (70 years old) just pasted away suddenly on one of his 6 week long motorbike trips. It breaks my heart he's gone but I know he'd be tickled to know he went out on his bike. He always said "I don't want to get old and in some dam nursing home! I want to go out doing 100 mph on my motorbike with my hair on fire!" well, he came dam close. Anyway... I want to completely redo my garage. Between what I've already got and was he had Theres going to be 6-9 motorcycles in my garage at any giving point. I know how important a lot of these bikes are to him and I. Some are classics and others are very nice newer bikes of all types. Does anyone have pictures of there garage or other garages that are really special? I'm looking at spending some money on vintage signs, framed posters, flooring, a sitting area with a TV to watch racing. A/C etc. Something really classy. I would like to spend some money on collectables such as signed pictures, classic gas pump, neon, etc. Something special to remember him by. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your father.

I put one of these motion sensor in my garage.

I bought a clock that was battery operated, but had a a/c plug for the light that surrounded it.

When I enter the garage, the light goes on. It shuts off after about 6 minutes of no movement. I thought about putting a train track around the perimeter and hooking it to one of these. The train would run when I was out there and shut off when I leave.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. When I bought my house the shop in back came with a few vintage items to include old license plates from classic cars. When I get home I'll go take a look at what I've got. I can't make too big a promise from memory, but I've probably got some stuff I'd like to donate to your garage.
