I've done a fair bit of windsurfing, and wanted to get back into it the past couple years, it's a really fun sport. Where have you gone?
I sail on NJ shore most of the time. On spring (April usually) I go to OBX for week - cheap easy trip. And November on Maui (my favorite place) for 2-3 weeks.
After twenty years of sailing I retired about five years ago. That era might have been the highlight of my life along with offroading and snow skiing. Sailed Lk Michigan, South Padre, Fla. keys and Cape Hatteras. Even though I'm in good shape for sixty something it became too much work to waterstart in high wind and waves. Sometimes I was so exhausted I didn't know if I had the energy to get back to shore. Scary. So here I am with a beautiful Mistral Screamer hanging from the rafters and like new sails with carbon mast in the basement. If anyone is interested send me a PM. Going cheap and I mean cheap.
Ummm...lakes are still frozen and 3-4 feet of snow still on the ground....I think it will be another month or two before our season starts.
