    I did 2 seasons with AAMRR in '78 and '79 in modprod and F3 (IIRC). Ran at NH and Bridgehampton.

    The old NH track ("Briar Motorsport Park") was a dust bowl- pretty primitive. Nothing like NHMS now.

    Yes ... crowd control/armco was a piece of twine! But these were New Zealanders.

    I think it was an awesome era of "street"bikes turned racer with riders from all styles.
    Dirt trackers,roadracers, motocrossers,pig farmers,etc............

    One thing I keep noticing about these photos is that top level riders of the time had pit facilities more like our club racers today. :lol2
