Are you going to get stuck in your driveway again?

My nice neighbour just came and plowed my drive for me. My little snow plow is just for clean up, but still - it needs to actually be working in order to do that. :rolleyes

I think the situation calls for the snow-thrower machine later on.

I am done. With snow blowing and everything else for today. It is really not that cold out and almost no wind. I way over-dressed and am way sweaty now.

It would be premature for me to start moving snow...it's really coming down.

I didn't get stuck. After a couple of attempts, I managed to get into the driveway. The snow was up to the fecking door. :deal

You guys are giving me some serious second thoughts about moving up there. I hate that stuff.

It's just snow. It's inconvenient at times, but it's not that much of a problem. I generally just stay put and wait it out, and sod about in the shop.

This particular snow storm will feck up travel a bit tomorrow I expect, but things will move along soon enough.

Although the cold and snow can be a bit shit, it's a really fabbo place to live. I like it a lot.

I couldn't live without well defined seasons. The brief, inebriated winter gives way to some really lovely riding and nicely varied topography.

^those last eleven words brought to you by inebriated winter

I was the same way when I could keep them in the house. Since I don't really have a place for the GS in MN, I'm probably going to leave it in TN, and winterize it. I doubt I'll get a chance to bring it up until Spring, which is in what, June up there?

St. Patty's Day might be a little aggressive, but I'm always riding by Easter.

Depends on your appetite for salty, sandy, gravely roads.

Early May is generally rideable. Camping up north is best the end of April.

March or April, usually. Bring yer 'lectrics. Or buy some, if you don't already have them.

I'd say around 10" here out in the west suburbs. Plow finally got here. I was ready to flip out due to our association fee increase.

I like the cold weather. The dense cold air is not to be missed. Only thing I don't like is driving in the stuff, accidents, getting stuck or stranded in the cage.

Going to fire up the sled in the morning.

This year was pretty excellent, with the last winter being so light, and getting done early. It was great getting out in March, before any of the campers or boat haulers were out and about. The roads were totally empty. Good times.

I like winter. Not so much for the snow itself, but it's a great time for getting bike maintenance done, and just chilling out indoors listening to records.

    Groovy.
