    The chances are good that Mrs Bridge Club and I will enjoy this fine Cornish Ale ce soir while trying to read the subtitles on Broen (BBC4, 21:00). No drinking and swimming for us.

    I believe the top of the pass is about 9,500 feet. The top is actually about 8-9 miles further up past the pub which is right on the South Africa/Leostho boarder so I don't remember the elevation of the pub.
    This it the road to the pass. The pub is about as far up as you can see in this photo.
