the hydro boost is good if using a high lift cam, but this is a stoke motor, PM me if really interested. AC doesn't work.

These are both owned by the same guy here in MN, I've seen them at a couple snowmobile events and they both run/drive and look pretty original.

I've had my Duramax for over 9 years now, bought new in Feb 2003. Just put a new set of wheels on it, shined her up and took a couple of pictures. I love this truck, and at 140,000 miles I'm not even starting to get tired of it. I hope it lasts nine more years.

Any issues with transfer case or injectors?

A buddy of mine has one of the about the same vintage & he's had problems with both of these.

Just wondering. Nice ride, by the way.

Yes. Injectors took a shit at about 50K miles. Chevy replaced them and warranted them for 200,000 miles or (X) years which I think I've surpassed. I keep fuel additive in there to avoid problems with today's low sulphur fuel as it's a very expensive job.

    Transfer case has been fine.

Only other problems have been the retracting mirrors, they have always been a problem, had both motors replaced and still not right. When I extend or retract them which is not often, I have to have someone push or pull while I'm on the button. I see they only had those mirrors for about one year. :lol3

Speedometer died around 100K. The servo motor is chintzy in them. Sent it off and got a better one put in for about 350 bucks.

Haven't really had to spend any other money on this that I can think of right now.

Just FYI for anyone else having this (very common) issue. I found a guy on ebay who replaced all the servo motors and upgraded all the bulbs to LED in my cluster for less than $100 including shipping. You pull the cluster out, ship it to him, and he ships it back all fixed up. It was gone about a week, and the trucks drives just fine without the cluster.

Thanks, and like I say, I was just wondering.

Yes, injector replacement is stunningly expensive from what I hear.

I believe on my year Duramax (LB7 engine) the heads have to come off to replace the injectors, resulting in over $3,000 for the job. On the 04 and newer LLY engine I think not.

That's about what Harry told me he paid to replace the injectors on his '02.
