KTM 690''S do not meet the cc requirements. I am on the fence of doing this, as always. I might be willing to thrash myself this year...

You are correct, it is a 654 but I think in the past it was not included in the adventure class as it's not really competitive against 1200, 950 or 990's. Maybe they updated their rules that I'm not aware of.

Gotta protect my hands, broken hands don't tune too well.
As for the 690 I could be incorrect, sorry for the confusion.

Raise the limit to 655cc and the KTM 690 wouldn't be included in the ADV class. If the limit is 652cc (like last year) then the 690 qualifies with 2cc to spare.

Might be best to make the ADV class multi cylinder AND greater than 652cc.

keep it as is at 652 which includes the 690
The rule was put in place to keep the xr out, unfortunately it also kills the KLR by default, not plan. not sure how else it could be done.
an Aprillia 450, 550 are twins, but not ADV bikes.

What's so different about the XR compared to the 690? Similar weight, about 310 lbs. Similar power too.....isn't it?
