One advantage is that the GT750 was a more robust bike, That gave you a good chassis to start with. My old H2, the frame flexed so much you could see the front frame tubes spread under hard (With a 1970's single caliper brake) braking, and the front wheel moving back and forth and up and down :rofl

But you hit the nail on the head with this quote....
And that got me thinking... The good news for me is that I do not have an H1 or H2 engine in my barn or a modern chassis to stuff it in.

You,did capture the essence with your Water buffalo

Finally got around to posting a few photos of the 2 bikes that are getting me back into riding. I've had the r80/7 for 18 months and just picked up the cl350 a few week ago

Love the CL's. I think one of the best bikes Honda built in the 70's.
Adventure touring before it was called that.

Yeah, the CL is a blast for tooling around town and gravel roads. It's going to get a pretty good workout this summer on my dads farm.

You really gotta stretch the legs on that thing once in a while! That poor thing, bordering on bike abuse, is there a hotline for that?!
Have you owned it since new? I had an RZ500 way back when and am restoring a Daytona Special now.

    Cheers

The 2 previous owners needed that hotline you speak of!
I justed picked that bike up a month ago...........was told the original owner rode the bike home and put it away for 23 years...........next guy did not have much time due to small family...........the ride out to Tsawwassen was my first ride on it...........ended up putting 100 miles on it that day.
The collector plate is at my insurance dealer and I will order a new pair of tires tomorrow!
    I'm gonna ride it!!

    Cheers

Love the Transalp. I'm not sure I've ever seen that colour before.
You have 2 W1's? I have only ever seen one in person, and it was a static display at a show, didn't look like it had been ridden. I've never seen one on the road.
Tell your wife the only problem you have, is your garage is too small. There's no such thing as too many bikes.

Looks like the paint matches the house so maybe an expansion is more in order?

Cool collection :thumb Love them all.
