I don't own a V strom, have the 41 litre TTs. They are awesome aren't they. Only problem you can pack way more than you need on a trip!!!!

Stock bags, which came with the bike as a "promotion". They were lame but they worked until I gathered up the scratch to get Happy Trails boxes.

I've just got back today from a 13 day/two states/2,452 km ride with my bike packed like this.

scottyaustria - What model are your side bags? I have a white DL-650 myself and like how the bags look on your bike.

sorry to say, but I think I agree as well. i think trax might look better. If i buy the newest wee I'd go with the jessee anyway. my friend has them on his super tenere and they are very well built.

Posted these pics elsewhere on the site but cabin fever is setting in. From 200 miles of dirt road on the Denali Highway last summer. Stanley tool box + roll bags, light and everything I need. This set up has gone through torrential downpours and everything stayed dry.

My current bag setup. I've also got a large Pelican ripoff top box, not on in this picture. I prefer just the panniers for daily use, and toss the top box on when I need the space
