Without pictures it didn't happen.........just sayin LOL

We stayed in a small hotel a couple of blocks from the Arch back in 2000, went for a river boat ride, ate in the space needle, had a great time for a couple of days en-route to Denmark on business. Would have loved to spend more time there, maybe renting a bike and seeing some of the country side. We did rent a diesel mini-van and it would cruise close to 160kph fort long periods of time going to Toulouse and back. ; ) Made me wonder why we didn't have comparable vehicles here. I forget what the mileage was but it was good for how we flogged it.

Any of you guys need a good mower going into the growing season? Need to get rid of this Exmark, so I can replace it with other fuel-burning devices. :evil

Hey Flux, didn't you get some Heidenau K60 tires, if so how are you liking them and where did you get them.

I've taken a few taxi rides thru that god-awful roundabout.:eek1 I was convinced that all it would take was one American driver to shut the whole thing down for days. Say what you want about the French, but those suckers can sure drive... and the motorcyclists with bashed up top cases from "cutting it close" around trucks???:bow

What got me was how aggressive-yet-polite they all were. A little mini-car or bike would lane split, and if it edged even a half inch in front then ran out of room, the driver being passed would automatically yield--even trucks and taxis! Most folks I know would be freaking out and slingin lead.

Not Flux, but :thumb. Best street/dirt compromise I have found. However, those guys that get 10,000 miles out of the rear tires must be counting trailer time.... 3,000 miles fries mine. I just order mine here http://www.heindlengineering.com/Online_Store/heidenau_tires.htm

I went to a dual sport ride near Paris and went over to see the Eiffel Tower, but I don't remember a roundabout, seems like there was a playground around it.

Hey guys and gals, keep us in your thoughts and prayers, my 18 month old fell on our golf cart Wednesday and split his lip to his nose. four stitches, and we have to see a plastic surgeon Tuesday. He had to be put to sleep urgently Wednesday night for the stitches, and it was the scariest thing I think I've ever had to witness. I'm just having a hard time right now because had I been holding him, he wouldn't have slid out of the seat and hit his mouth.

Unfortunately stuff like this just happens with kids. You seem to be a great father and would never allow something like this to happen on purpose, so try not to blame yourself!:deal

I hope your son heals up quick!!

Yup I have them and love them. Better handling offroad than the Scorpions and I'm not a good enough street rider to tell the difference on the asphalt. So far so good.

I got them from Wes over at Apex Cycle Shop in Ellijay.

I hope this was no one here.

To the fella on the BMW who passed me going north on hwy 9 today...on a double yellow line, in a curve, going over a hill, while your kid was riding two up with you:

    You're an idiot.

My anger toward your stupidity ruined my entire ride home. You don't deserve a bike.

I'm done with my rant, please return to your normal discussions.
