It is very useful, particularly if you have buttons and someone pushes them. Much easier to put them on 'ignore' than to let them piss you off.

    Can't ignore mods though.

    Kind of a bummer.

Thanks for the help. I suspect I either have a troll or stalker trying to ruffle my feathers. One reason I have stayed away from ADVRider for so long (I'd been warned of this stuff.) It will be the first time in over 10 years I've used an ignore feature.

I find that the existing ignore procedure is a bit suspect because if someone wants to know who has ignored them they go look at their own profile and it shows the last 10 ( I think ) people to have viewed their profile and you could almost bet that a lot of those are going to have used the ignore feature.

So instead I have http://www.advrider.com/forums/profile.php?do=ignorelist bookmarked and then I copy and paste the name of the person I want to ignore and then use the bookmark to go to my own ignore list and paste in their name directly.

This way they don't see my name on their profile.

I don't worry about that. If I hve to ignore somebody it's becasue they're being a DB and they should probably know it.

Ah I see, Your Control Panel / Profile Privacy / Display Options / Recent Visitors: / .....

'Note: Guests and users on your Ignore List will only be able to view the blocks on your page where you have selected 'Everyone'.'

.... so now mine is set to 'Registered Members' for all.

    Thanks Klay :1drink

How do you get to that list without bookmarking and just using the menu? Can't seem to find it... Is there a 'hidden' link somewhere?

    Thanks!
