You either "get" little bikes or you don't. If your not instantly in love with this bike just by looking at it you probably will never want to own one. My family owns a powersports store and I have been showing every other person that walks through the door the new Grom because I am so excited about it, like unreasonably excited about it. Some reactions are like mine once I tell them all of the stats and others just kind of shrug it off. Kind of like the reactions when Honda brought out the Fury, it made me throw up in my mouth a little, but some people totally loved it. At least Honda is trying some different stuff and bringing fun and accessibility back to motorcycling. Oh yeah, is August here yet!?
I totally get where you are coming from. I am unreasonably excited about this bike. Really can't wait to get it.
Haha, that's awesome! I guess having a real dog in that situation would be dangerous to the dog and the rider. You'd think they would try to find something a little bit more real-looking though.
Better they should have had a fake broad and a hot dog? Actually, there are a few fake broads in the vid.
Does anyone know if these have an oil cooler? I am finding "radiator cover" under some of the website accessories but the motor is air cooled.
I WANT IT... efi, 4speed, designed for an adult, e start, disc brakes, and 9+hp from a stock honda horizontal? If only i could afford $3000 right now. Screw my 70 this is better in every way
Good question. I have looked hard at a number of photos and can not see a cooler of any type where that cover mounts. I would think any oil cooler would/should be mounted out in the open for good air flow. So.... based on internet photos and limited information... I am going to go with No, it does not have an oil cooler. But I think it will be a good addition. I expect mine to spend most of it's life at redline.
Yep, I don't need it and I can't afford it. Unfortunately, we don't get a practice life. So I am buying it. Gonna ride the heck out of it and smile the whole time.

A Russian friend told me that it also means "Thunder" in Russian. I'm assuming the surfer culture reference is probably more likely www.gromforum.com
I did some checking and it looks like the oil cooler (if thats what it is) is mounted above the cylinder tucked in the plastic underneath the tank area. It looks by the picture here http://www.bikerzbits.com/honda-msx-125-radiator-cover-apk2619010ta.html that it is in front of the air box by the crankase breather tube being seen in the photo. I hope it is an oil cooler becuase that would just add to the reliabilty of the machine. It is "air cooled" so the fact that this company is listing it as a radiator cover could just be lost in translation.

Yeah, it looks like Honda does call out "air cooled" : http://www.gromforum.com/index.php?topic=2.0 I imagine the water cooling would add alot of heft.
