Kelvy (Turnsleft) and I had a fine ride today. Over 17 to 18 to Darrington Burger Barn to Rat Trap to Upper Finney (17 north) and back down the S. S. Hwy. Here we go... at Snegelson Pass we took a side road to the end where we'd never been the Hydrologist at work on back on 18 we rode on up another spur we hadn't been to the end of and found some views we left the rides and hoofed it up yonder yep, he's a rock climber to! that's White Horse in the haze Baker, Shuskan and Sauk new rider get's some expert advice it was a beautiful fall day, a bit chilly in some spots
What Guns said. Tom could not make the last Rat run, so we left Woolley around 09:30 for 17/18. A month or so ago I went up to Segelsen Pass to cut a path through this. We never made it back to see how far we could make it, till today. Turns out to be 3.5 miles and takes you to here. Lorne can try this. Tom coming to see what I was doing. On our way out, not too much brush. Just broke/cut a few small alders. Fun road. And more than a few big trees to look at. Tom and I took a new to me road and found this rock thing to climb up and get some views. Looking to the south. If we would have dropped a rock it would have made it all the way to the bottom with out hitting any thing on the way down. Pert cool. Looking north, quite the ridge. Off to the east there were some interesting looking roads we need to find This is the road we took from Segelsen Pass. And it goes on around the hill. On our way back from the ridge view we took a little side road. Found frost and it was about 2:30 PM. Still a bit of a bite in the air. Took this coming down Rat Trap. Little sign at the blue gate. 17~18 are always fun and toss in Rat Trap and it make a good day[long] of riding.
But grateful to live vicariously through my ADV Brothers rides. Enjoyed Kelvy's photo of the infamous Tom, as always the scenery and photos were spectacular! Hiya Kelvy Nice to see you're still clearing trail, regrettably we did no trail work this year!
Looks like you guys had yet another good day up there. I'm working for a client down in Everett for the next few weeks. Working makes me miss riding.
Thanks Dave. That was my last shot of the day, the diminishing light and composition made it a strong one.
