So they added my gold, and apparently that flagged it so I could take some tutorial for some more gold.

Any other hints for starting out? So far I seem to be able to shoot things poorly a few times and then they blow me up. I also couldn't tell, once I'm blown up, am I supposed to exit to garage? Or wait till the end of the round?

And the no foliage thing explains a lot. I was watching people turn and blast tanks hiding in bushes that I couldn't see at all. And I got blasted that way too

Thanks for the advice. I can't wait!

Sadly, no TS setting up for me yet today. I still don't have a headset because I am a cheap bastard. Guess what bike I ride! :deal Got a couple more thrift shops in town to check before I give up trying to set up TS today, but we will see. See some of you on the Battlefield soon!

    I'll bet it ain't orange.:lol3

I used a really cheap boom mic for a while. As long as you use push to talk, you should be fine. A lot of people have them laying around since many PC came with them back in the day. Ask around.

But is that the optimized one that has the things it gave me from that site?
Or is it the old one?

    Interesting.

All it did was offer to allow me to save a file - it didn't take me anywhere that would have installed a trojan.

Of course Training Rooms are required to learn about new map changes.

The three we saw changes with were Steppes, Cliff, and Live Oaks. I didn't take SS's of Live Oaks, but there is now a path through the center lake if you drive carefully, and there are more islands to sit on, and possibly a few to get to, in other water areas.

Other changes you will want to be aware of:

    Cliff:

We checked out a few more maps, but only saw minor changes. We did not check them all out, and probably missed some changes.

I noticed it's no longer possible to climb the cliffs in the top right corner of the Steppes map.

It's a new version, but I haven't looked at it. Likely pulled from the same place you got yours.
I thought I'd mention that it was updated on Curse since a lot of people one stop shop there.
