@ Dean & T-Redz, it's the ride that matters not the bike UNLESS you're in one of these roads in the jungle.

    Jungle twisties - unforgiving!

Oops what's on the other side?

As far as your eyes could see, no human on sight!
This is the time you wish that you brought a spare tank of fuel with you. Oh shit! my last engine service is long overdue! Pray hard that your bike doesn't break down or your tyre tube holds.
    I love this feeling! :evil

    Hi DeannKL,
Thanks for startiing this thread. Lots of riders but no platform to post.
I hope you guys up north can post up and show the way. Now we have one.

    Hi Wild Manga,
Great RR. Nice pics. As Dean says - where is the start? Any cordinates or GPS tracks. Planning a ride there during May holidays.

    Hi Griffin146,
Read both of your RRs. Great stuff.

RRs from you guys are a great start. Please keep postng guys. We can't ride all the time so RRs in between are great.

    Cheers !!:clap:clap

Man you guys have some great riding country. Love the photos.
I'm researching a ride somewhere up there and you guys are inspiring. So many great rides, and so little time. Keep the RRs coming.

    Hi again.....

Rode this........during 2nd trip to Mae Hong Son.....last April.

Most of the time I ride alone or just with one or two riding partners.
The trips are usually Thailand, Cambodia & Laos with exception of one trip to the east coast loop last year.

This month I palnned to ride from Cameron Highlands....Bertam Valley to Kuala Lipis vide the new road......(not sure whether it is completed) for a few days. Thereafter a 3 days trip to Satun Province, Thailand via Wang Kelian border checkpoint as the roads are curvy and hilly.

This early May...somewhere 1st or 2nd week I intend to ride from Vientiane, Laos to Boten..northern Laos (Chinese border) for 7 days if I can obtain leave from my work in advance to do the necessary preparations. Otherwise, I may just ride to Kanchanaburi .......to Burmese border at 3 Pagoda Pass......there are beautiful roads there also.

My trips RRs are usually posted in the GT Rider website.

Hopefully we will meet on the road someday........somewhere.

    Happy riding and ride safe.

    hi there,
the new road start from Sungai Koyan in Lipis distric. When you reach Raub, just follow the sign board to Felda Sg Koyan. If u not sure, just stop and ask the local people, they are helpful and friendly, just tell them u want to go to Cameron Highlands via the new road.
hope can meet and ride one day!:D

wildmagna, thanks for the info. on the new road to Camaron Highlands, I know the road to Raub well as its a favourite of mine so I'm sure I can find the way.

The Kawasaki D Tracker is already made and sold in Malaysia alongsife the KLX 250 Trail bike, price is about RM 23,500 for the D Tracker and RM 22,800 for the KLX 250. Most Kawasaki deallers have stock, if you want to see them go to Welly Batu Caves, they have both models.
