    Anyone on here has one?

Only thing I know is it has the Piaggio Master engine shared with the Aprilia Atlantic 500 (I rode one several times)...

Almost bought one. Really like the looks and performance but got cold feet and got current bike instead. Get one and tell us about it. Inquiring minds would like to know.

Two of my riding friends ride the x-9 and really like them. I find that riding to rallies in the 300 mile range+ it helps to have riding friends that can hop on the freeway to click off the miles. I ride a Silver Wing. I have really liked the fit and finish on the x-9. I see no downside to an x-9.

Amazing scoot, IMHO better then the older design Majesty 400, faster
too, just make sure you check the oil often, the level tends to rise on
    some of them.

    Think comfort, not sport.
    It's a bit wallowy.

    Was Peugeot Satelis available there?
Same bike, only better (and the better version of the master 500).

    Too bad.

They worked out the minor flaws that they had in the X8/X9 and
Beverly, made them look even better, put on better suspension
and brakes.. and sold them for the same price here.

I was more impressed with the Geopolis 400 with 14/16 wheels
but that engine is a gem. Virtually no vibrations compared to the
500, and almost no difference in performance.

    Np.

It was a test ride for a local magazine that I used to write for.

I've been looking all over craigslist. Not too many X9s... The good ones seem to be going for well above book value.
So yes, basically, one pays what one thinks it's worth but... I don't know.

    It's the same situation here.

There's not too many of them still running around (especially with under
20k miles on the ODO), and sales weren't that good even when it was
    available in the shops.

It was a lot more expensive then the BV/Beverly and the X8 (probably
never heard of that one). For the price of a 250 X9, you could get
the 400cc BV and X8 (well almost), and it was a no-brainer for most.

In the 500cc range, it was priced about the same as a Nexus 500
(a very sporty design, with amazing handling and brakes, same engine)
and the Majesty 400, and again, most people would pick the X9 last.

    You get the picture..

    I always liked this tho:

I think the EVO 500 had some sort of automated center stand too.
    Sick stuff.

    Fuel gets in.

(We're in 10th year of this issue, it's been documented well on a lot of
    forums.)
