I picked up Arkham city on the steam sale.

Not bad. My fingers needed a rocksmith reprieve anyway. Fookin callouses got so thick and big I can't tell when my left hand actually hits a letter on the keyboard anymore.:lol3

I like it. It's got some issues... what doesn't?

But it's fun, got me playing and actually learning and exercising my fingers, and gives you some nice shiny rewards for practicing.

So much so that I'm thinking of buying another guitar. :lol3 That I will also suck at playing.

I think Arkham plays a lot better with a XBod 360 controller then the keyboard.

As for callouses, file them down some. :deal

It probably would, but the right trigger on my 360 controller has been assed up forever. Hard to go through the fight scenes with bats continually looking 90 degrees left. :lol3

Far Cry 3 getting lots of good reviews, set for a Dec 4th release in the U.S. I may pick it up off of Steam but almost all my gaming time right now is spent in multiplayer Black Ops 2 on the 360.

    Just getting into them.....

Virtua Tennis 3 is pretty fun and a great simple game.

Battlefield 3 is well Battlefield aka it kicks ass, also the campaign feels a good bit better than MW3.

And after playing Assassins Creed II and Brotherhood I'm going back to the first one and just started.

Getting to all these games is going to take a long while, I have tons of hours left on the original Borderlands DLC's, Skyrim, and NHL 12 where my pro is still in the Canadian Jr league.

I also picked up a bunch of games on Steam yesterday with the humble bundle.......for 6 bucks I got saints row 3 and 4 or 5 more games on top of that, it's going on for another week.

Battlefield is great, I like the campaign but get my ass kicked online.
I do better on MW online.

The Assassin's Creed games have a good storyline. And the graphics and depth of the game is stunning, lots to explore.
I'm afraid to get Skyrim, I'd probably have to quit my job to play it :lol3

I'd avoid Skyrim unless you have a good 2 weeks to kill, but if you ever do buy it and enough caffeine and pre-made food to get you through because you're barely going to leave the house :lol3

The nice thing is Skyrim has an end so you're just temporarily anti-social unlike the MMO's which are like drug addiction.

Also any XBox players if you want a ton of achievements play Madden 08, I got it cause it was a buck a few months ago and finally messed around with a game on rookie settings since I stopped playing it in 06......in one game I got 200+ points. I looked em all up after that and in 4 more games I'm at 800+ :eek1

Yes she is. It almost makes the game to easy. When you start stacking Anarchy you can do some serious damage. I am making my way though the new Hitman right now. If you have not picked that one up, it is worth playing.

She does make it too easy. She's the most fun though. Her comments crack me up.

Does she come with the season pass? I'm waiting for that to go on sale to pick it up.

Also now that I'm playing the original Assassins Creed if anyone hasn't played any of them make sure you start with the first one. I'm not saying this because you need to follow the story from start to finish but that the Altair voice acting sucks so much compared to Etzio's that you'll be pissed off every time you hear him speak.

    Fuck.

Oh speaking of steam after the holiday sale, latest humble bundle, and the big controller based game sale today my library has exploded and is pushing both of my computers beyond their limits.

So for the desktop right now I have a Quadro FX 580 which is 512 MB and 32 cuda cores, more than enough for photoshop.....not so much for gaming. So any ideas on upgrade? Not sure if I even need another Quadro so a consumer card might be more than enough. The only restriction is my power supply is 525W.
