That would be Shaken not Stirred!

We got turned on to HydroFlask's some time ago and love them. I carried one in a bottle holster on the outside of my Wolfman Panniers all over Death Valley and it worked awesome.

September 23-28, 2014 will be the dates next year. I have been going to Nevada the last weekend of September for several years and the weather has been great every year. No pic of the routes. We did loop rides from camp at Rye Patch Reservoir.

    Pics eventually. :jump

Here we go............... On the drive down.

    A few miles into Nevada.

I was hoping to get to camp before dark. Still a ways to go, just past Winnemucca.

The next morning after I left to ride by myself since I was a day early. That is my rig in the campground down there.

    The reservoir is mucho low.

A few nights later we got back to camp and I looked up and saw this to the east.

A few minutes later I looked up and saw this to the west. My comfy camping setup for this year.

You want pictures we have pictures. First of all, thanks to trailrider383 for inviting me on this ride. A cold front moved in just as I arrived. A few sprinkles the first night and the next day. It snowed in the foothills next to the campground, and the temp's were lower than expected. The first day I think we found every dead end road and finally a great connecter to the North that looked like it had not been used for a while. On the second day of riding, I soil sampled some silt and pulled a hamstring and thanks to WhiskySierra who joined us on the second day and helped me pick up the bike. On my second crash ( see pic ) A pine tree reached out and grabbed my handlebars, I guess it was my day. I left on day three, so not reinjure my hamstring and not be a liability out on the trail. Over all two day's of great Nevada riding and the clouds were spectacular. Thanks guy's, lets do it again. Pic's below.
