+ + x = Finally have finished installing all the parts and pieces. Had to do some minor modifications to fit the Heinrich tank. Scrounged up a beefier shock for the sidehack. Took me 2 years to get things to this point. Have run it a couple thousand (very) loaded miles. Looking forward to some winter riding in the southwest. Had one floor board mounted on the left, but couldn't mount the right due to the subframe. Finally decided to mount it from the sidecar frame....excuse the dead grass hoppers. I killed about 10000 of them last weekend on a ride. When I started the bike today it smelled like someone was burning meat. Still need to line interior of the sidecar body. Think I'll get some gray automotive trunk carpeting and use that. This thing was built to ride. It will never be anything near "show quality" and wasn't intended to be. Even though the majority of parts were scrounged, it has still been a money pit as a lot of new parts were required. I have a lot of satisfaction to look at the thing and know I raised it from the dead.... In reality I guess this thing will never be completely done. Seems there are always improvements to be made.
From one Montana native to another, nice job b'hacker! You'll have a fun winter for sure! I have tank envy....
Thought I'd post some pics of my BMW with SuperElastik sidecar here too: Had the sidecar on the original MZ ETZ 251 ( with 300 cc engine ) before bolting it to the Beemer: Story about the combo is in my own topic: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=623971

SO tell us, is that a adhesive application, or what? And what are you using for the hack windshield? I looks much nicer than my cut down Sputnik OEM...
It's a 3M vinyl car wrap material. The pattern is blaze mimicry from Mothwing. It comes in 4'x5' sheets and has an adhesive backing. I think I might have gotten the idea from an old post of yours Red. The last thing I want to do is to blend in to the surroundings. As for the windshield, it's just some polycarbonate. It cuts easily in my bandsaw and bends well in the metal brake. The edge is covered with some trim-lok edging.
